Our Mission
In the Spirit of Service not Self, the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad.
Our Vision
The vision of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion while becoming the premier service organization and foundation of every community providing support for our veterans, our military, and their families by shaping a positive future in an atmosphere of fellowship, patriotism, peace and security.
What We DoThe American Legion Auxiliary, Department of New Mexico, is part of the world's largest women's patriotic service organization. Whether members of our Armed Forces served for many years or just one day, they are each a veteran. We make a difference in veterans' lives every day around New Mexico. And you can too!

Who We AreWe make a difference in our communities through programs such as Americanism, Children and Youth, Education, Community Service, Girls State, and Leadership. Through programs like Legislative, Veteran Affairs and Veterans Services, National Security, and Veteran Affairs and Rehabilitation we support our local veterans and their needs. We also provide assistance to the New Mexico Veteran Homes in Fort Bayard, and T or C. There's room for you!
|
Why We MatterWe honor our veterans' service willingly and selflessly. Collectively we make a huge impact and here is how:
